Good morning all,

I write to you from our brand new offices at The Maltings (East Tyndall Street, Cardiff)!

A lot of you will hopefully be aware by now that due to the need for expansion, we have moved offices from Cathedral Rd to a new multi-room office here at The Maltings.

The move has been 3 months in the pipeline and we're all very happy to have finally got in! The new building allows us to maintain the highest possible standard of training by encompassing our working offices with two training rooms in one complex. This means we will have total control over our in house First Aid and CPR courses to make sure they run completely smoothly. The offices give us much more room for practical sessions with a seperate room (complete with 60 inch plasma screen) to run the theory elements of the courses.

It also gives us room to take on more staff when required for the very quickly expanding business that we have very excitingly become!

To view our new training/office suite, all you have to do is book on to a course here >>>>> go on you know you want to!

So all in all a very exciting time to be involved in Lubas Medical.

In addition to this, we have also been providing the Paramedic Support at the Swalec Stadium and Newport Cricket Club for the ICC Champions Trophy since the end of May. This has included all practice sessions as well as the main events! Again it has so far been a privilege to be involved in one of Wales most prestigious events. We hopefully look forward to a long term working relationship with the staff at the Swalec Stadium so watch this space!

Never a dull minute!

Hope you've all enjoyed reading, we'll be back soon!

Lubas Medical

Hi all,

Apologies for the lack of blog activity the last few weeks it's been a bit chaotic!

Firstly a very belated congratulations to Wales for the 6 Nations triumph. It was again another successful campaign that we're are always proud to provide the Paramedic Support for. We've now been part of the medical set up for 3 Grand Slams plus this year's Championship. And with this Wales will now be supplying 15 very deserving Lions to the 2013 tour. Fantastic year for Welsh sport all round with Cardiff, Swansea and now Newport all having groundbreaking seasons as well football-wise.

As for our news, our Twitter & Facebook followers will now know, Lubas Medical are currently providing the Paramedic Support for the excellent Da Vinci's Demons. The filming is on location in various parts of South Wales and we feel very privileged to be a part of such an exciting production. The current filming will continue until December.

On a different front we will be moving offices next month to a larger facility at The Maltings in Cardiff. This will mean being able to hold our offices and training suite in the same location making life a lot easier for you and us! Some of you will have already experienced the new training venue which we are currently using for First Aid and CPR courses and so far the feedback's been great! We are slowly but surely moving our equipment over to the new building and making it a complex that gives us the ability to expand in all the right directions.

We are also excited to announce work has begun on the re-development of the Sports Trauma and Sports First Aid courses. We will be re-vamping both courses and will have more news regarding this over the coming weeks and months.

So it's all been happening busy busy busy! We will be looking to update the blogs on a much more regular basis now that things have settled down somewhat so watch this space...

Until then see you soon.

The suite is located at 1-3 Lady Margaret Square, Colchester Avenue, Cardiff beneath Colchester Dental Practice. We are currently adding the final touches and will add pictures of the new venue soon.
