The Resuscitation Council state that, ‘your CPR skills should be refreshed at least once a year, but preferably more often’. Our First Aid Annual Refresher Course ensures that you will meet with Resuscitation Council and Health and Safety Executive recommendations in a concise and practical session.
Purpose of the course
Our Annual Refresher course has been developed specifically to assist you as a First Aider, in maintaining your core practical skills, as well as updating you with any changes to current First Aid guidelines.
Who should attend
Research indicates that 3 months after initial CPR training your skills are likely to deteriorate. An Annual Refresher is an absolute must for all First Aiders to help maintain your skills and knowledge. Our course should be taken every year until a First Aid at Work Re-qualification is due.
Our First Aid Annual Refresher Course is a half day (3 hour) course.
- Health and Safety (First Aid) regulation updates.
- Managing an Incident
- Treatment of an unconscious casualty
- Treatment of bleeding/shock
Our trainer continually assesses attendees throughout the course. Successful candidates will receive our First Aid at Work Annual Refresher and CPR update certificate.
